... A Joke for You
A wife and her husband are having a dinner party for some important guests. The wife is very excited about this and wants everything to be perfect. At the very last minute, she realizes that she doesn't have any snails for the dinner party, so she asks her husband to run down to the beach with the bucket to gather some snails. Very grudgingly he agrees.
He takes the bucket, walks out the door, down the steps, and out to the beach. As he is collecting the snails, he notices a beautiful woman strolling alongside the water just a little further down the beach. He keeps thinking to himself, "Wouldn't it be great if she would even just come down and talk to me?" Then He continues gathering the snails.
All of a sudden he looks up, and the beautiful woman is standing right over him. They start talking and she invits him back to her place.
They end up spending the night together. At seven o'clock the next morning he wakes up and exclaims, "Oh no! My wife's dinner party!" He gathers all his clothes, puts them on real fast, grabbs his bucket, and runs out the door. He runs down the beach all the way to his apartment. He runs up the stairs of his apartment. He is in such a hurry that when he gets to the top of the stairs, he drops the bucket of snails.
There are snails all down the stairs. The door opens just then, with his very angry wife standing in the doorway, wondering where he's been all this time. He looks at the snails all down the steps, then he looks at her, then back at the snails, and says, "Come on guys, we're almost there!"
