You would retire… but the money is too good!

I hear these words on the phone a lot. And the more I hear it the sadder I become.

Hey, the money is not that good any more! So what’s keeping you?

No money in the bank at all? You worked but your money didn’t work for you at all? all these years?!

No, it didn’t, you say… OK, maybe not you, but 99.99% of the providers… and 98% of the general population, so don’t feel bad. Good money, bad money, this is the American Way… The Way To Slavery!

The Way of Slavery…

No beating around the bush… the single biggest financial problem is not an escort problem… but I am talking to you, and I want you, my reader, to beat the trend…

We live from job to job, wondering if we will ever be able to quit working and not face certain poverty. Or what will happen if we are forced to quit… have an illness, a run in with bad luck… someone stalking us, someone trapping us, etc.

Around this time of the year, especially in an election year the fear starts to work its way from our heart into our head… business is slow or non-existent, the next job isn’t coming, and we are even worried about paying the rent or the mortgage… bad, bad bad news.

And we vow to ourselves that when things get better, we’ll start saving… but time and time again, we don’t do it.

Don’t be surprised: we were never taught how to handle our finances that our money start working for us, instead of us working for it all our lives. If anything, we are told lies that literally train us to be a financial slave. No wonder life looks the way it does.

And just to “sneak in” a little mindset stuff: the lies were told us by other people, but partially by our own mind. Our own mind has been tricking us.

The nature of the mind is to look at what’s happening, and declare… yes, you heard that right, declare, that how it is now is how it is continue to be forever.

When it is bad, like now, the mind tells you: it will be always bad… thus all the emails about being in a funk, depressed, etc.

When it is good, the mind tells you: Hey, live it up, it is always going to be good, why worry… easy money, etc.

The “magic pill” answer to this phenomenon is simple… I didn’t say easy… but simple. And the time to start it…

Hey, Good question: When is it the best time to start making your money work for you? when you are doing good or when you are doing bad?

My answer: the best time is always NOW… regardless of outside circumstances.

In the famous story of the richest man in Babylon… the hero starts the process when things are really bad… So I thought that if we follow his suit, we can’t go wrong. :-) We’ll do this together, as a virtual community… I’ll do it WITH you… I need it real bad too!

I am going to make the story available to all of you. As soon as I put it in a downloadable format, I’ll send an email to those of you that have subscribed to my newsletter list… Subscription form on the top right hand corner of this page.

For those of you that don’t like downloadable books, you can get the printed book on Amazon, $6.99 plus shipping: by clicking here

I’ll send the emails asap… maybe even today?

    Sophie here…
I must admit that I made a hasty promise in this post. I thought I had the book in a pdf file format, which is downloadable, and no matter what kind of computer you have, it looks the same.
And then the file I had turned out to be incomplete and completely rewritten by some bozo… anyway, I decided to re-type it. After 88 pages and very sore wrists later I asked my UPS store to scan it for me… but even with that I have put in over 30 hours and it is not ready… The first few stories are ready, proofread and beautiful, 84 pages, ready to go. Shall I just post the file like this? What do you think? Talk back to me!
