Welcome Back. If you haven't, please subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks
I have been diligently applying Wallace D. Wattles’ principle (From the Science of Getting Rich): before you can even consider starting a new venture successfully, you need to be “too big for where you are”.
Being “too big for where you are” means too good. Being so good, that by all measures you can be considered successful.
In my case, if I were too good for what I am doing now, I would have to start hiring help to manage the mountain of business that is coming my way.
Or to answer my email. Handle ad approvals, resizing pictures, etc. Maybe even to cash all those big checks.
Alas, that is now where I am. My operation is still efficient as a one woman band. Somewhat efficient.
I mean, I can handle the work thrown at me… but some of the lists are grossly outdated, and the business barely makes enough money to pay my bills.
So I decided to put some energy into this business: maybe that will do the trick.
The first step is to clean up the lists and make inactive/unresponsive advertisers not to appear on the lists.
The mature, busty, bbw, tantra lists are done, the outside of the US list is next, and then I’ll prepare for the big one: the US list.
The system is: advertisers need to confirm their ad once a month to be able to be visible.
There is one leak in this method: the confirmation link and the ad promotion link is the same, and if someone has an abandoned website, they can still “accidentally confirm” the ad of an inactive provider, but the number of these cases is small.
The big day for the US list will be on the Sunday after next, May 11. I am contemplating making the US advertisers confirm their ad weekly, but I am not sure.
I have been resetting this list weekly for the past 4-5 years…
Would it be too much to ask of you to confirm your ad weekly? Every Sunday…
