Compare the following two pictures:

The pictures on the left were taken in a studio, background carefully chosen to be contrasting and not competing with the foreground. The pose is set up to showcase the escort’s best physical features. Buttocks, hair, eyes, breasts, personality.

If you look at the pictures on the left you can see the important body parts, they are shapely, they are clearly seen, and they have a good muscle tone. On the pictures on the right you either don’t see anything, even though it’s there or it is lacking aliveness, muscle tone, and definition. Just as a smiling face shows life, a body can “smile” and show life, show energy, show itself bursting with vitality, sexuality, and attraction, as opposed to how you look when you are just sitting around, thinking about whatever… not very attractive…

Do you think a photo that shows you at your best will “sell” you better than a lousy snapshot where one can’t tell what you look like, can’t tell what kind of a person you are, can’t tell what to expect from your session? Think hard… what do you think?

Do you need a professional photographer to have good pictures on your site? No, you need a good photographer. And that is not a dime a dozen.

One of your collegues, Nichole is New York City, moonlights by doing photography. She is the lovely brunette in the first picture. That picture was self-shot, which is not so easy. That is not an easy feat… it is a lot like playing chess without a chess board… not many chess players can do it.

Now, as an afterthought, do not think that every photographer that knows his trade will take the type of pictures that will sell your services well. Why? Because though they know their trade, photography, they don’t know YOUR trade, companionship, intimate get togethers, nurturing shy, insecure people.

A photo that is too perfect does not attract many clients, only the ones that have enough self confidence.

Many times I need to add a disclaimer to the ad: “if it is not me in the picture, you pay nothing.” I only do that when the picture makes the escort look so gorgeous that there is a disconnect between their rate and their looks on the photo.

I’ll show you two examples of such a photo:

Now, I happen to know that those girls had a problem getting customers until I put that “if it’s not me…” note in their ad title.

What should that tell you: you should look great on the pictures, but not 10 times greater than in real life. Wear the clothes you normally wear. Have your hair just a “hair” better than normal. Tell your photographer, or better yet, show them how you normally look at a regular session. So when customers arrive your door (or when they open the door for you) they immediately see that there was no switcheroo, and you are the girls in the picture. After all, they want to spend a good time with the girl at the door, not trying to remember the image that made them pick up the phone. OK?

The best pictures are the ones that look and feel like a snapshot, like Nichole’s own picture, but done with all the above in mind. That is the case of “you have your cake and eat it too”

You look your best and you feel approachable, real, and someone a man would want to spend time with. TIME… remember?
