About once a month I spend a whole day going through all my lists looking for broken links.

I am looking for the pictures that don’t show: if I had to click on every link I would spend the whole week clicking away… so I just use the pictures to see the obviously not working sites…

That is, until a few weeks ago, when suddenly “everyone and their sister” seems to want to spend their hard earned cash to have flash sites built.

Suddenly, their image links don’t work, suddenly all their previous advertising is gone, suddenly they have zero control over their site: and you know how unreliable and unreachable webmasters can be.

Not mentioning the fact that: flash sites are not search engine friendly, so your site will NEVER show up in the search engines.

The other thing is: you have your attention on the wrong thing: guys don’t care how snazzy your website is, if you don’t answer your phone, don’t answer your emails, if you are distracted and remote, if you are haughty, if you require way too much verification, if you don’t listen, if you… and the list continues.

If you paid attention: the things you don’t pay attention to are free of charge. But they require YOU to do them, not some webmaster, techie person, who wants to sharpen their $10/hour skill on your site. While your $200 an hour skills lay dormant, because you don’t use them, because what you are doing does not generate customers, does not generate repeat clientele, does not generate raving fans.

In the coming hard times, only providers with raving fans will survive, the rest of you will struggle, and sell your wares half price, do car jobs, etc.

So instead of paying attention on the quality of your site, so that you don’t have to put out, learn to love what you do, learn to love the poor shmo that needs your services, earn your fees, and learn the art of becoming a “cult leader” with raving fans.

In the meantime, please, don’t convert your perfectly fine sites to flash sites… it is not worth it. You’ll feel you did something good for your business. But you’ll do something bad for yourself… took your attention off what escorting is about. People.
