Hey,
If I had a dollar for every ad that doesn’t do much for its creator, I would be able to take a vacation every month. If I had the money these girls leave on the table… I would have a million dollars.
I am going to start a little series here… it will go through several articles, so come back and check for “new installments”.
Everything I say is not the truth, it is just what I learned in this business through my 19 years in it. I know a lot, and I don’t know everything. So listen to me at your own responsibility: if it makes sense to you: heed my advice. If it doesn’t: don’t.
Rule number 1: You are in this business selling your time only. Everything that happens in that time you sold is not paid for, not contracted for, not offered, not available as merchandise, etc.
The moment you violate rule #1: You are a ho. Low priced/high priced, low class/high class… ho, nevertheless. Prosititute, hooker, find your favorite expression. Or least favorite. Don’t be that. It’s illegal, and it is punished by law.
Rule #2: Write your ad/website in a way that you don’t need to answer questions. Any questions.
Remember, you are selling your TIME for a lot of money, as far as paid gigs go… Why are you then soooo careless about your phone/email time? Now, suddenly, you have all the time to spend with them for free?
In addition to wasting your time, if you talk to much, you accidentally may say something incriminating to you: don’t set yourself up like that! Put everything that they ever want to know in your ads and on your website.
In the initial communication it is YOU asking the questions, THEY are answering, and YOU are making a decision if you want to see them or not.
Here is a sample ad that has worked its magic for years:
Becca’s Full Body Massage 50+ beautiful, professional, petite, busty. – Erotic and sensuous full body full service massage. For mature clientele. Incall only. Reviewed. Thigh high and high heels. Exquisite. Click “Website” for more info. Please email me — after you read my site — to make an appointment. Pre-booking requested. Travel: please check my calendar click here I will travel to X, Y and Z, regularly. Please email me if you are interested in receiving my schedule in any of these areas. Thank you
When they emailed — after they read the site — they got a standard email (NOT AN AUTORESPONDER!!!) with the following questions:
Would you mind telling me some things about yourself, like
where you live,
how old you are,
what you do for a living… plus a few words about
your personality.
OK?
Also, if you haven’t: please email me your cell phone number.
If they had any of the required information in their initial email, I just deleted that line before I hit “send”.
That email sets up the “game” correctly: it is YOU who is asking questions here, and you have done all the “selling” in your ad and on your website. There is no need for you to add anything.
When you get the response, you analyze it carefully, it has 99% of the time enough information, intended and unintended, for you to decide if you want to spend time with this person.
If you are not sure, ask some more questions, until you are sure.
I have found this screening technique much more reliable than any referrals.
In the next article I’ll take apart a few ads on my site, and analyze them why they don’t work, and how they can be improved.
If you have any comments, please use the commenting feature on this blog.
Thank you.
