<description>I agree with both of you. There is a great discrepancy in what is considered "right" and "wrong"!

		<description>I agree with you Kathryn.

For many years, every time I heard "legalize prostitution" I shrugged my shoulder. It didn't concern me, either here or there.

Suddenly with this high profile case, I am on your side, and I apologize for my lack of support for all those years.

<description>I wanted to make a comment on the Elliot Spitzer matter: the agency he used "Emperor's Club" did not do anything wrong. Spitzer DID. The agency fulfilled its end of the agreement. They accepted payment and discreetly handled the transaction and sent him the girl he wanted. He even said "Excellent. Wonderful" after hearing her description and that she was on her way. He paid $4,300 not only for the quality of the escort, but for the agency's AND the girl's top discretion and reliability. The agency was in no way responsible for bringing down Spitzer - it was his own arrogant actions and disregard for his high public profile that brought him down.

Furthermore, HE was the one who was married and had publically declared his love and legally made his commitment to his wife Silda. He broke that faith and betrayed his wife. Ashley/Kristen kept her word and fulfilled her commitments and obligations to her agency and to her client Mr. Spitzer. I see her as being FAR more honest and respectable than I view Mr. Spitzer.

Next time I hear some HYPOCRITE say something condescending about prostitutes I will immediately suspect that, like Mr. Spitzer, it is the "pot calling the kettle black" and the one casting the stones is themself a patron of escort agencies!!!

Furthermore, what is the difference between a woman who clearly stated and honestly enters into a contractural agreeement to have sex for money . . . and a gold digger who marries a man for money. Have you watched "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire?" or "Millionaire Matchmaker" . . . . I have far more respect for an honest escort than I do for a gold digging whore who marries a man for his money and then divorces him and takes him to the cleaners to get every cent she can. And how many women have sex with a guy just because he had bought her dinner? So I say the Spitzer incident was a good thing because it should jump start us to ALL start rallying to DECRIMINALIZE SEX WORK.
