A few years ago I was in a seminar. The leader wanted to prove a point and asked us all to close our eyes. We could hear the chalk on the blackboard as he was writing as we waited. Then he asked us to open our eyes and read what was on the blackboard. “Paris in the spring” I said to myself… but didn’t raise my hand. Other people did.
